Are you the kind of person who enjoys translating network- and security related technologies into innovative customer-facing service features? Do you want to embark on a journey with a brand-new LAN service in a global role? Then you should look at this exciting new position at ASSA ABLOY Group IT!
About the position
ASSA ABLOY Group IT is now creating a new role to spearhead our brand-new service “LAN as a service”. This will provide an end-to-end LAN related catalogue of accessible, usable and valuable services that are applicable to all entities within our organization worldwide.
What you will be doing
As a Service Delivery Manager, you will play an important role as the main driver for Operations and Developments within our new LAN related services. You will be working with the entire spectrum that ranges from design, implementation, security and improvement. Your main goal will be to increase the quality and efficiency in a close collaboration with internal- and external stakeholders on a global scale so that we ensure continued growth and success.
In this role, you will also:
- Provide technical expertise and support on a global scale for the configuration and management of the service towards various stakeholders
- Collect and analyse feedback and requirements from internal customers and stakeholders of the service
- Closely collaborate with external service providers to ensure alignment on the overall service progression.
This role is located at our offices in Malmö Sweden and you will report directly to the Manager and Service Owner Network. Occasional travelling will be required.
What we are looking for
Since this is a new role in the start-up phase of a new service, we believe that it is important for you to have several years of working experience with scoping, designing and implementing networks, preferably on a global scale. Ideally, you should also have a clear understanding of how global management and central handling of LAN in DC’s as well as on sites work in terms of switching, routing and IP/DNS/NTP management.
As a person, we believe that you are service minded, self-motivated and enjoy environments where you get to utilize innovation, creativity and empirical data to motivate your decisions and drive your processes forward.
Ideally, you would also have:
- Knowledge about Cisco Identity Service Engine, Cisco WLAN, Cisco Switching and routing
- Knowledge about NSX, Arista, SIEM and InfoBlox
Fluency in English, written and spoken is required.
